Learn IPA’s capabilities with featured tools during this online training. Find answers to your questions about using IPA for your research project. We will demonstrate IPA’s capabilities with built in tools and features during the case study. This is a course for existing users of IPA with good basic knowledge and experience of running and interpreting data through the IPA Core Analysis.
Ingenuity Pathway Analysis Update (1 hour)Technical update on the functionality changes and system improvements in the recent releases of IPA, including:
- RNA-seq support
- Comparison Analysis Results
- Advanced Analytics
Cause-and-Effect Functionality: Advanced Analysis (2 hours)Using a case study of RNA-seq gene expression profiles for two classes of cell lines representing two breast cancer subtypes.
Upstream Regulator Analysis: Generate Causal Networks
- Better understand regulatory mechanisms controlling the gene expression changes in your experiment. Predict upstream molecules, generate plausible signaling cascades, and generate novel causal networks utilizing new analytics in IPA
- Gain insights into your data by integrating Upstream Regulator results with Downstream Effects results; create causal hypotheses that explain what may be occurring upstream to cause particular phenotypic or functional outcomes downstream.
- Quickly determine if canonical pathways, including functional end-point, are increased or decreased based on the pattern of differentially expressed genes or proteins in your dataset.
